ABW At CIP

In 2015 CIP introduced a new workplace environment to its new premisis in the vibrant Flinders Lane precinct in Melbourne. This new workspace invites staff to venture beyond the traditional office cubical and become more active within the workplace. The new workplace design and philosophy does away with traditional seating and includes collaboration zones for staff that support different work activities and creates flexibility.

This new workplace philosophy is that of Activity Based Work (ABW). ABW recognises that collaboration and teamwork foster better outcomes and create a larger and faster flow of information within the workplace. The ABW system was introduced to energise the workplace and create a more productive and dynamic environment.

As a result of ABW’s success, CIP is currently in the early stages of planning for ABW to be introduced to its Jones Bay Wharf Sydney office.
